The B.E.S.T. procedure promotes wellness in body, mind and spirit. This creates a physical, mental and emotional balance. Dr. Lee focuses on touch points and breath work when an individual is in her clinic. This in turn works on removing subconscious interference from the nervous system so that the body can heal itself. She explains that this is a form of an energy medicine. Through removing interference , the B.E.S.T. technique puts your body into a state of “harmony” that promotes total wellness. She mentions that when the body is stuck in “stress mode”, it causes the mind and the body to work at a less than optimal level.
B.E.S.T. deals with the 6 essentials of life. These include thinking, breathing, drinking, eating, sleeping, and exercise. When a client works through a lifestyle change to address eating, drinking, and exercising, and sleep in conjunction with B.E.S.T., the body will rid itself of disease and perpetuate a state of wellness.
B.E.S.T. has a two part procedure. The facedown procedure is used to balance out the autonomic nervous system which deals with rest/digest and flight/fight. The faceup procedure deals with the emotions that create interference in the nervous system. B.E.S.T. removes interference from the nervous system so that the body and mind can heal. Dr. Lee states that B.E.S.T has a protocol, but it is designed for the individual. She performs both leg and muscle tests to gauge how to give her patients effective treatment.
According to Dr. Lee, most people are operating at less than optimal efficiency physically and mentally due to our busy lives. In order to maintain a healthy body, and mind Dr. Lee recommends regular visits. Dr. Lee states that while we are very quick to maintain our cars, our hair, and our nails, we don’t work enough on the maintenance our bodies need. Dr. Lee says many patients feel a difference after their first visit with her, but within four visits, major changes are occurring within the body and mind.
With ongoing treatment, patients find themselves healthier, happier, and less aggressive. They have better relationships and can set goals better. After asking Dr. Lee what she would say to a skeptic that is thinking about trying B.E.S.T., she describes her technique as noninvasive and universal. She says, “This technique is non-forceful. It does not interfere with other treatments that you may have with your other health practitioners.” With that in mind, a patient undergoing care with a traditional practitioner can see Dr. Lee and use B.E.S.T. as a supplement to traditional care. Dr. Lee maintains that B.E.S.T. is a positive reinforcement to your ongoing physical or emotional treatment or just on its own.
B.E.S.T. is universal in its ability to heal and address issues in children, teens, and adults. Dr. Lee enjoys being able to treat entire families and see their results yield harmony in the home. Dr. Lee stands by the fact that a B.E.S.T. treatment is cheaper than a pedicure and has lasting results in both mind and body. Dr. Lee says the most exciting and rewarding part of her career is the smiles that she sees on her patients’ faces when they get off the table.
FAQ about B.E.S.T.
What is the B.E.S.T. Technique?
B.E.S.T. is a technique that has a spiritual, physical and a neurological component. It is an energy based technique that is non-forceful in nature and a neurological component that entails addressing the "feeling(s)" that come up during the application of the technique.
What is the neurological component of B.E.S.T?
Each feeling is specific to the person who is receiving the treatment. The goal is to clear negative feelings that create emotional blockage, which is part of removing subconscious interference from the mind.
What is the physical component of B.E.S.T.?
The physical component involves the facedown part of B.E.S.T. by touching certain points on the body and including breath work in order to balance out the autonomic nervous system. There are two parts to the autonomic nervous system. The parasympathetic portion is “rest and digest” while the sympathetic portion is the "flight or fight response”. Most people are sympathetic dominant and they are stuck in this pattern due to work, family, bills, worries, health issues, etc. It is similar to having a bear chasing you all day. The body is in survival mode. B.E.S.T. can balance out the autonomic nervous system so that a person can feel more "normal" and respond to situations accordingly instead of being in a "stuck" pattern.
What is the spiritual component of B.E.S.T.?
The spiritual component of B.E.S.T. is the most amazing part because it allows a person to feel good being in their body all of the time. The daily grind is no longer an issue. A person can adjust to any situation and not have their world turned upside down by a perceived crisis. Even driving in rush hour is no longer a stress. A person is able to roll with the punches and feel a sense of control with a peaceful balance. Drama free living is the outcome of receiving B.E.S.T.
Can B.E.S.T. work for pain relief?
Back pain, neck pain and other pain feel very physical in nature, but there is always another component to a condition that results in pain. B.E.S. T. addresses the issue at its core, which leads to pain relief that is long lasting.
How many sessions of B.E.S.T. are needed?
It varies from person to person. Give B.E.S.T. at least four sessions to see the changes that will occur. B.E.S.T. is designed to remove any interference from the mind, which will in turn help the body. The goal is to be a mechanism, which allows a person to express their form of "genius" or " perfection". Each person is different and so his or her needs will be expressed differently.
Are there any additional benefits of receiving B.E.S.T. treatment?
There are several "extras" with B.E.S.T. The main one is a better attitude and a more positive outlook on life. Most patients speak of how naturally happy they are. They have better relationships and friendships in their life. They are able to set proper and respectable boundaries with work, family and personal time. Patients are able to live guilt free lives and live with total gratitude. B.E.S.T. is designed to peel off any layers that a person has so that their true self can be expressed. People love the bonuses that come with B.E.S.T. It is a lifestyle that includes goal setting, using the law of attraction, creativity and pursuing one's dreams which is always the key to true wellness.
